The origin of the Lorraine house dates back to the end of the 15th century. It was then a farm that belonged to the monks of the Carthusian order of Rettel. What is fascinating about this house is the existence of a vaulted room and its stone pillar. Interior fittings in the purest Lorraine tradition, testimony to the daily history of the Pays de Nied : arts, traditions and various collections, faience works, glasses, stoups, paintings under glass, wedding dresses, furniture, toys, dolls and earthenware stoves.
Exhibition of Christmas cribs from mid-December to mid-January. Entrance € 2.50 with mulled wine and christmas cookies.
